[Pick Of The Week] she’s green – “mettle”

Minneapolis’ she’s green have released new track, “mettle,” and it’s not one to be missed. Self-described as “moss music,” the band captures the essence of shoegaze meets fantasy while blending the best of both worlds sonically and visually.

Chock full of reverb-soaked soundscapes and powerful vocals, “mettle” delivers on all fronts. Delving into the horrors of constant turmoil in the news, the track brings about an energy of finding hope in the madness while finding brighter days ahead.

“‘mettle’ channels the frustration and discomfort that stem from what often feels like constant bad news, while also being an anthem of resilience and the courage to take action and bring about positive change,” explains bandleader Zofia Smith.
