[Pick Of The Week] Juliana Madrid – Pixelated”

Dallas native, Juliana Madrid, never disappoints and her newest offering from her upcoming sophomore EP, Afterlife, is not one to be missed!

New track, “Pixelated” is the sixth track released from the EP – following the releases of “White Montana,” “Trackstar,” “Silica,” “Big Plans” and title track, “Afterlife” – and just might be the standout!

Upbeat and lyrically poignant, “Pixelated” is an anthem for those stuck in their heads who tend to overlook the big picture, serving as a reminder to not fixate so much on the things that torment us.

“‘Pixelated’ is about being stuck in your head. It can be really hard sometimes to get the bigger picture of what’s going on in your life when you’re so zoomed in on a million tiny details. Also in this song I think vocally the style may be different from any of my other songs, like the staccato note length in each chorus. I think it helps to convey this overwhelming feeling of chaos that can be a product of being alone with your thoughts and your mind racing.”

Afterlife is due out August 11 via Neon Gold Records. Pre-save here.
