[LISTEN] AIRBEAR – “Home For The Summer”

Boise-based emerging artist, AIRBEAR, is back with new single, “Home For The Summer,” and it’s not one to be missed!

Following the spring release of his single, “Tattoo In My Brain,” new track, “Home For The Summer” takes on a more rock-sounding vibe than his previous material. Inspired by The Band CAMINO, Lauv and TDL favorites, joan, “Home For The Summer” is a definite must-add for those pool party playlists!

“‘Home For The Summer’ is all about that school crush that moved away or went away for college and you are wanting to reconnect that spark that you had in the past. I got the idea talking with a buddy of mine. He was talking about a girl coming home for the summer and was planning on seeing her. I thought that line ‘home for the summer’ was awesome so I wanted to write a song about it for the summer time! During the writing of this song my file corrupted and after being on the phone with apple support for over 5 hours they told me I had to start over on this song from the beginning. It might have been a blessing because the second time producing this song I added some things I didn’t add previously and I feel like it really came together nicely.”
