Boise-based indie-pop artist, AIRBEAR, is mastering the art of the DIY life by writing, recording and producing all of his music himself, making him an artist to watch this year!
Self-describing himself as the “indie Charlie Puth,” AIRBEAR not only won us over with his catchy new track, “Tattoo In My Brain,” but his charm and genuine approach to songwriting as well.
Drenched in synthy pop hooks reminiscent of joan and our buddy Javi Jimenez, “Tattoo In My Brain” delves into a tale of a love that got away while all of your memories of them stay tattooed in your brain, stuck on replay…which is what you’ll probably be doing once you dive into this one!
Though it’s only the beginning for AIRBEAR and his musical journey, he definitely has a powerful mission in mind. “We all have that favorite song that means so much to us but we really can’t explain why that is to anyone. That’s another one of my goals when I write my songs. I want my fans to experience life through and with my music. I want them to make memories with my music as their soundtrack! And hopefully they can enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it.”
