[Song Of The Day] Smallpools – “Run With The Bulls”

“I’ve got a rock in my shoe…”

No really, I always do. Never fails. Turns out Smallpools can relate. New single, “Run With The Bulls” from the band’s forthcoming sophomore effort is a face-paced, half-a-minute banger drenched in paranoia that just doesn’t seem like enough. We want more and we want it now.

Singer Sean Scanlon told Billboard: “The voices come from different sides as if they’re voices in your head. A rock in your shoe that you can’t stop to fix because of the feeling of a stampede approaching. You’re worried you won’t make it, that the seats are all taken, but in reality, there are so many available. You remind yourself you run with the bulls.”

Anxiety runs rampant these days and this track captures the notion flawlessly.
