[LISTEN] LIGHTS – “Long Live” feat. Travis Barker

It’s crazy to think that LIGHTS’ debut, The Listening, was released almost 10 years ago. 2009 was a fantastic year for music, but for LIGHTS, it was only just the beginning of a long, beautiful career.

In honor of the 10 year anniversary of The Listening, the singer unleashed new track, “Long Live,” with Travis Barker, along with a pre-order for a special vinyl edition of the album out on October 11! You can hit that up right here.

“Long Live” delves into the nostalgia of the singer’s humble beginnings – hanging out in parking lots, MySpace, scene kids, emo hair, online forums, and the celebration of youth. The single cover is also a nod to her first acoustic EP. These references are giving us life!

“To every MySpace using, forum posting, bubble tea drinking emo kid who’s been with me since The Listening, this one is for you,” the singer shared in a tweet.

“Long live The Listening and everything in between
Long live the motherfucking team”
