[LISTEN] Jesse D’Kora – “Old Movies”

Jesse D’Kora has returned with another gem! This month’s offering, “Old Movies,” is a summery dream-pop bop that is sure to be a favorite, especially for those who tend to spend most of the dog days of summer inside with the AC turned up. We’re right there with ya on that one!

Equally dreamy as it is surfy & reminiscent of Day Wave, “Old Movies” gives those so-called “hermits” of summer an anthem while the question of, “Did I waste my summer away?” hangs over our heads.

“Inspired by spending long summer days indoors, ‘Old Movies’ is a melancholic song about just that,” shared D’Kora. “The wavy guitars and spacious oohs are prominent features, and the hope is this song can transport you straight into summer!”
