Just when you thought Little Rock, Arkansas duo, joan, couldn’t get any better, they go and drop another 90’s pop-inspired gem to get us all in our feels…and it is so good – pun intended!
New track, “so good,” follows the band’s 2020 cloudy EP, and it is the first of many tracks to come in the coming months, leading up to two EPs set to be released later this year via Photo Finish Records.
Chock full of late 90’s/early 2000’s pop and R&B, “so good” delves into that fuzzy feeling of meeting someone you wish you knew your entire life, yet it feels like you somehow have; more like a twin flame experience.
“The song is about feeling like you’re meant to be with someone who just walked in the room,” shared the band to PEOPLE. “It’s about being around someone that just makes your life feel good. It’s about wishing that person was there your whole life, because you didn’t realize how good it could be. We just wanted to make an expression of that feeling, and it turned into one of our favorite songs we’ve ever written.”
