Our darling Fleurie has returned with new track, “Chasing Stars,” off of her upcoming album, Portals, and if you’re anything like us, you’ll be longing for that release date in no time…if you aren’t already!
“Chasing Stars” follows May’s release of “Constellate,” continuing the notion of better days up ahead. While the Portals era finds Fleurie in a new, shimmery indie-pop sound, no aesthetic matches her more accurately than this, magnifying everything we’ve ever loved about the Nashville-based singer and then some.
Getaways, even for a few hours, are so crucial in this day and age, and “Chasing Stars” is the permission we all secretly needed to hop in a friend’s car and go stargazing for a little bit to find some peace of mind.
