[LISTEN] St. Lucia – “A Brighter Love” / “Paradise Is Waiting”

The moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived! We always say that summer is the best time to jam out to St. Lucia, and luckily for us, we were treated to not one, but two brand new tracks to kick off the band’s third album cycle – title and release date yet to be announced!

“A Brighter Love” and “Paradise Is Waiting” are the first releases from the band since the release of early 2016’s Matter, showcasing their impeccable tropical synthpop in a way that should be illegal. While both tracks couldn’t be more different, there’s something to savor within each of them.

“A Brighter Love” encompasses that classic St. Lucia we all know and love with a refreshing 80’s dance-pop twist, reminding us why we fell in love with them back in 2012 in the first place.

“Paradise Is Waiting” on the other hand isn’t anything you’d ever expect from St. Lucia but it works so well, making us even more intrigued as to the direction this next record is heading. We’ll save all of our gushing for the album review. Our only request is: more sax, please! 😉
