Honestly month continues here at TDL with an exciting premiere of the alt-pop band’s new video for “Tourist.”
Shot while the band did an IG takeover for us here at TDL a few weeks ago, the video – directed by longtime collaborator Stephen Cwiok – showcases Honestly doing what they do best: live music.
The track is set to be featured on the band’s upcoming EP, Dancing After Dark, due out next Friday, August 26.
“‘Tourist’ is a song about the empty emotions associated with one night stands. This song is about both sides of impulsivity; the initial serotonin boost and the shame thereafter. It’s about reconciling that shame.”
