[Pick Of The Week] Talk Time – “Year of Self”

While it’s no secret that most indie-pop greats of today hail from good ol’ Los Angeles, Talk Time just might be the best you’ll hear out of LA in a long time. Today marks the release of the band’s debut single, “Year of Self,” off of their upcoming EP of the same name, and we are starry-eyed for this one, big time!

Inspired by a desire to break free from expectations and that figurative box we’re all somehow supposed to dwell in, “Year of Self” explores other options some may not feel they have. In other words, this is the anthem this generation needs to stop worrying and start taking risks!

“‘Year of Self’ is a celebration & mantra for the unique thinkers with courage to live outside the box, and an ode to the astronomer Galileo.”
