[Pick Of The Week] Garbage – “The Men Who Rule The World”

It has been 5 years since we last had a brand spankin’ new Garbage album in our lives. Needless to say, Garbage fans have been anticipating this moment for a very long time! New single, “The Men Who Rule The World,” arrived today with some pretty exciting album news!

The band will release their seventh studio album, No Gods No Masters, on June 11 and if the first single is any indication, this album is going to be on fire – just in time for the summer!

“The Men Who Rule The World” is classic Garbage at their best. It’s angsty (and rightfully so), honest and so refreshingly gritty. If you’ve been dragged down by all of the bullshit going on in the world for the past few years, this one will hit home and will be on repeat for a while.

“This is our seventh record, the significant numerology of which affected the DNA of its content: the seven virtues, the seven sorrows, and the seven deadly sins. It was our way of trying to make sense of how fucking nuts the world is and the astounding chaos we find ourselves in. It’s the record we felt that we had to make at this time.”
