A new year means brand new music from your favorite bands, and UK indie-pop band, Stay Lunar, are first up for us!
A fresh new sound isn’t the only thing Stay Lunar has brought into 2023. The band has also brought on new band member, Kate Daggett, who will be contributing vocals, guitar and keys!
New track, “I Like It When You’re Around,” shifts the usual indie-pop we’ve come to know from Stay Lunar into a more broader, rockier sound set to the theme of friendship and all the comfort that comes along with it.
“The track is essentially a love-song about friendship, and how having your friends around you during a tough time really makes a difference,” shared the band. “I feel that sometimes we find it hard to say what we need from our friends, as well as tell them how much we appreciate them – and that’s where the inspiration came from.”
