[LISTEN] Rise Carmine – “Sadistic (I Like It Too)”

Toronto-based psych-rock band, Rise Carmine, are gearing up for the release of their forthcoming EP, Under The Red Light, and first offering, “Sadistic (I Like It Too),” is a keeper!

“Sadistic (I Like It Too)” is an LCD Soundsystem-esque message to the man in the mirror to stop self-sabotaging and enjoy the present.

Influenced by electro-rock, fans of Royal Blood, Garbage and Radiohead will fall head over heels with this one!

“The song’s message is simple. To experience life, one must go out and live it. ‘You can’t stay home / if no one will take you out I’ll be there,’ is a message to the man in the mirror,” shared frontman Liam Colbert.

“‘Sadistic (I Like It Too)’ is an antidote to a certain brand of self-sabotage, one in which we are too paralyzed to enjoy the present out of fear of what those decisions might mean for our future.”
