[LISTEN] HAUNTER – “Miss Me” feat. R I L E Y

If you’ve developed an obsession and all around band crush on alt-pop band, HAUNTER, after listening to their debut single, “Love You Better,” you’re not alone. Like us, you’ve probably been craving more new music as well. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait too long as the band has unveiled new track, “Miss Me,” today featuring alt/R&B singer R I L E Y and let’s just say it’s a definite much-appreciated earworm.

“Miss Me” serves as a companion track to “Love You Better” as both are connected by one common theme we all can relate to: love gone wrong. When communication – or lack of-  goes awry, and two people can’t figure out what they want due to fear, etc, there’s bound to be heartbreak involved. A solid continuation of their already-massive sound and aesthetic, this just might be the track to put HAUNTER on the map and on the radar of those who may be missing out.

“‘Miss Me’ was inspired by one of my exes telling me I would miss him after we broke up,” shared singer Lucy LeNoir. “With that line running through my head, I took that thought, and wrapped it around each of my past boyfriends that made an impact on me. One never called me, one never listened, and one just wasn’t strong enough to hold me up when I needed it. The verses are all about each of them individually as well. It’s kind of the story of my life.”
