[PREMIERE] Honestly – “IWAYF”

We didn’t have to wait long for the next single from indie-pop duo, Honestly! The band shared their last single, “Inside Your Eyes,” last month and premiered their music video for the track right here at TDL!

We are honored they have chosen us again to premiere their next single, “IWAYF,” and if you think you’ve fallen madly in love with their dreamy, seductive sound, you’re probably not ready for this next one!

“IWAYF” is the fourth single from the East Coast duo and it is set to be released on the band’s upcoming debut album due out this year. Conveying feelings of mutual love and the reciprocation of wanting to stay with someone forever, “IWAYF” references a real text conversation featuring the quote “I want all of you forever.” Swoon.

“IWAYF” exemplifies the most stable and happiest moments of a romantic relationship. Our upcoming debut album has two contrasting themes that splits the record in half. With the first half illustrating the full spectrum of emotions of being in love, and the second half being the full spectrum of heartbreak thereafter. “IWAYF” perfectly encompasses that first half of the record. The song is full of direct quotes and references from the relationship it was written about. It’s about the feeling of wanting to spend your future with another, and being the utmost confident in your passion and commitment towards that person.”
