[LISTEN] The Technicolors – “Congratulations, You’re A Doll”

If you’re looking for some 90’s brit-pop, garage rock sound vibes to start filling up your summer playlists, we’ve got just the right tune for you.

Prior to the release of their new album Metaphysical, we’re eager to present you the newest track from The Technicolors ,“Congratulations, You’re A Doll” – a fuzzy, funkier track that deserves to be played on repeat.

It’s amazing to witness a band’s growth, and as I’ve followed these guys for a little bit over two years now, to see the way things are going with this album so far is just outstanding. At first, this track kind of reminded me of the sound of The Strokes but with the personality of The Technicolors themselves, which is amazing.

According to The Technicolors, the new track “is a long-winded tale about coming to terms with your mistakes, or not. It’s a theme that just kind of popped up lyrically, and we wanted roll with it musically in a way that sounded like that of a desert disco; somethin’ to make your shoulders shake & your booty quake.”

METAPHYSICAL is due to release on July 7. Pre-order is available here.
