[LISTEN] The Maine – “Black Butterflies and Déjà Vu”

Prior to the release of their brand new album Lovely, Little, Lonely, The Maine released a new jaw-dropping single. “Black Butterflies and Déjà Vu” is, in my humble opinion, one of the best tracks The Maine has written to date. Its sound combines the best of the band’s early years with a kick-ass touch of their new one.

“This song is for the moments, places, or persons that somehow turn your tongue to stone. Those times when words truly do not possess the power to adequately paint the subject. For me, this was written for an instance when the world was made clear to me for only an instant. When trouble faded into wonder, and I had absolutely no use for the 26 letters I know.”

Lovely, Little, Lonely will be released on April 7. Pre-order is available here.
