Indie-pop queen, Holly Humberstone, dazzled us earlier this year with her second studio album, Cruel World, to enormous critical acclaim. The singer will do so yet again on November 13 with the release of deluxe edition, Cruel World…So It Ends and we couldn’t be more excited.
Featuring five new tracks, Cruel World…So It Ends is a turning of the page in Humberstone’s world.
“To me the fairytale doesn’t end, it just turns a page to a new chapter. ‘Cruel World’ was a journey of self discovery and finding my confidence in my voice, the songs within ‘So It Ends’ feel more confident and self assured.”
First offering, “Too Cute To Be Lonely,” was inspired by ABBA, Madonna and Robyn and continues on from where we left off in Holly’s fairytale, with it’s accompanying video showcasing a dreamy, storylike aesthetic set to the theme of a princess in waiting for her prince. Will he show up? Watch the video to find out! 😉
