[Song Of The Day] Delorentos – “SOS”

In a world where we’re constantly hearing about catastrophes, injustice and overall turbulent times, all we need is a little hint of empathy and compassion. Luckily for us, it sometimes comes in the form of a song.

Taken from their fifth studio album True Surrender, Delorentos’ latest single “SOS” is a cry for help. In an attempt of seeing things from the perspective of people who are most vulnerable and those who have “no choice,” the Dublin quartet delivers a track with an immense sense of honesty.

With the help of celebrated Irish videographer, John Broe, the band put together a video showing the work that goes into playing a slot at a big festival – from band practice to backstage and everything in between. The after comes with the bonus of showing a group of friends doing something they love.

“Show me where love is, cause all I see is ruin”
