[Pick Of The Week] Wall Of Trophies – “Something”

D.C. duo, Wall Of Trophies, have done it again. After dazzling us with their 2016 debut album, Heliograph, the band – comprised of Brittany Jean and Will Copps – are back to drop their atmospheric fairy dust on us once again with new album, Semaphore, out on April 26!

Of course, no album announcement comes empty handed and first single, “Something,” will have you counting down the days until the album’s release. Penned by Copps after learning of the suicide of a friend, “Something” packs a punch in just under three minutes. Offering hope and love, the track demonstrates that no matter what you may be going through, there’s always a missing puzzle piece waiting to be found.

“I wrote these lyrics right after I learned of the suicide of a friend–one who was very supportive of the band,” shared Copps. “This is exactly the message I wanted to give him and everyone. You don’t need to see the end of everything or the big picture–just focus on yourself and the puzzle will fill out around you. There’s always hope.”
