[Pick Of The Week] The Bad Dreamers – “Georgetown”

It’s been a hot minute since we last heard from Grammy-nominated producer/composer David Schuler’s synthwave project, The Bad Dreamers. 2018 saw the release of debut album, Songs About People Including Myself via FiXt Neon. Think: The 1975 meets Panic Division and Small Black.

Now the time has come for a sophomore release. On April 23, Space and Time will be unleashed into the world and we are so ready!

“Georgetown” was inspired by the 1973 cult classic horror film, The Exorcist, and it’s accompanying video is suspenseful as it is enthralling. Following an everyday exorcist going about his day, many questions come to mind until he comes face to face with the devil himself. Of course, there’s no shortage of glorious synthpop to sugarcoat the fear. After all, music is the antidote to our fears, right? Save this one for those Halloween playlists in about 6 months!
