[Pick Of The Week] flor – “little light one”

We think it’s safe to say that flor is just the gift that keeps on giving! The wait for album two has been excruciating, but it seems that we’re getting closer now to a release date and with new track “little light one,” the third release from the band’s upcoming sophomore album, fans can expect more magic to ensue.

“little light one” is quite the beautiful one with a breezy, upbeat yet calming vibe we hope to hear more of on the album.

It’s probably not cool to say this in the realm of music blogging, considering writers & journalists are apparently supposed to hate everything, but we can honestly say that flor has never released a bad song…or maybe we’re biased….or maybe we just don’t care about the politics of all this. Either way, this one’s a bop and we just want a release date.

“we wrote this one after we thought we were done with album two. the pressure of getting it finished was off our shoulders and we just created freely,” Dylan Bauld shared on Twitter. “loved it so much that we realized we were absolutely not done writing album two. hope you enjoy it like we do.”
