[Pick Of The Week] Dominique – “Payup”

NYC pop queen, Dominique, is killing us with her new track, “Payup,” and if this doesn’t make Banks want to take her out on tour, we don’t know what will! *hint hint*

“Payup” is the anthem of the century that dives into the frustrations of not getting what you deserve in a relationship. It also plays well to the freelance crowd who work their asses off for nothing in return. Bless this girl for these gems.

“I wrote ‘Payup’ about being trapped in a relationship where I felt like I was giving everything and getting nothing in return. In the song, I reach my breaking point, and demand payment for my time and energy. I wrote this song after the relationship had ended, and it portrays the confidence and self-respect that I wish I’d had, and the words I wish I would’ve said,” shared Dominique.
