[LISTEN] Redlands – “I Belong To You”

It’s been a while since we last heard from Denver based alt-rock band, Redlands. We sure missed them and we are thrilled to have them back with a killer new track!

Times are changing for the band and their brand new single is proof of this. With an electric and dreamy state of mind, “I Belong To You” takes the listener into a more high-spirited indie journey along with the band.

In the words of lead singer, Ben Lohle, this song represents their love for music – “We love creating these songs and I think that’s basically what the song is about, just realizing that you need to stop dreaming about doing that big thing you’ve been putting off or are afraid of doing and just committing to it…for me, it’s this band, I belong in this band and creating the art that we make. It’s a simple concept, but hey we made it into a catchy song haha.”

The track is taken from their upcoming EP Losing My Mind due out in early November. When asked about the process of creating the EP, Ben shares: “Basically, we set out about a year ago to record our track “Cannibal Lover” with our friend Matt Keller who is a great producer and individual in Phoenix Arizona and basically we clicked really well and we liked the vibes we were creating so we decided to come back and take three more singles to him”

Redlands will have a special physical edition of the EP, which includes their entire 20 song catalog from start to finish. Now that is what we call TDL approved!
