[LISTEN] Lane Lines – “Like To Look Sad”

Northwest artist, Lane Lines was dreamed up by Mandi L. Kimes. Taking experience from being behind the scenes in the music industry in Phoenix, a team of bandmates was recruited. Featuring Austin Harshman and Shaun Fleming, the trio are ready to take on the world with their own brand of “sweatercore” and we are so here for that cozy goodness!

2023 has officially been coined the Year of The Sad by the band, and once you hear their new track, “Like To Look Sad,” we have no doubt you’ll be on board with that sentiment…in the best way, of course!

Fans of Passion Pit, The Japanese House and St. Lucia will fall in love instantly with “Like To Look Sad” and it’s synthy, emotive vibe as it navigates the struggles of trauma, loss, love and destigmatizing mental health.

Lane Lines blurs the lines on taboo topics in music, bringing their message to the pop world in a refreshing way. “When we realize we’re not alone, we finally find validation,” says Kimes. “I want folks to know they’re heard in their own individual struggles.”
