[LISTEN] Jesse D’Kora – “Suddenly You Notice”

Our favorite DIY-er, Jesse D’Kora, has returned with new single, “Suddenly You Notice,” and it’s a killer.

If you’re currently in the midst of an existential crisis wondering how you got to be in your thirties already, this one should hit ya right in the feels. Shall we start a club?

“Suddenly You Notice” is D’Kora’s fourth release and the final track we will hear from him until 2022. Don’t fret, though! More music is on the way as he plans to release a song each month!

“This is a song about the inevitable march of time (aka getting old). In particular it is about all of the anxieties that come with getting a bit older, especially being a musician. I found that as I continue to get older that time goes quicker and the anxiety intensifies. Musically, it’s a mixture of sampled drums, chonky bass, tape bended guitars and synths, airy vocals, old timey samples and there’s even a guitar solo in there. I’ve tried to be creative with the sounds in this track and sonically it’s a bit different to the last couple.”
