[LISTEN] DENNY – “Woke Up In The Hills”

Nothing screams TGIF like new music from DENNY, am I right?

If you’ve been following the LA indie-pop band since the beginning, you’re going to marvel over the sound progression in new track, “Woke Up In The Hills.” We’re just going to be super bold as to say, Freddie Mercury, eat your heart out!

If you’re enjoying this one, the band is set to release new music this spring so stay tuned!

“I wrote this song about two weeks before we left for LA to record a bunch of new songs (which are coming out this spring). We didn’t have an anthem, a James Bond theme…So that’s what I did. We brought the demo to LA with Eric Palmquist (Bad Suns, Night Riots) and it came to life while living in John Lennon’s old hideaway in Laurel Canyon. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place for us to live while we made the best music we’ve ever made.”

  1. Interesting sound progression from Bloom to this. Still a good tune though
