[WATCH] VITO – “Moonlight Dancing”

There seems to be a newfound indie-rock revival happening the past few years with bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen conquering UK arenas, VANT’s energetic debut album earlier this year and most recently, Royal Blood taking the lead with a banging new record. No wonder that younger talent is popping up here and there, aiming for recognition within the genre.

Newcastle-based band VITO, formed in 2015, are genuinely newcomers to the scene. Despite that, they already show strong potential with their DIY approach in music making – songwriting, recording and mixing is all done by themselves. Their second single “Moonlight Dancing” tells the tale of a date seemingly gone wrong and as the night comes to an end, the star-crossed lovers find their way back to each other once again – all this within the very fitting music video setting of your average small town school prom.
