[WATCH] Hero Fisher – “I Let Love”

“I Let Love” is the most recent release of London-based singer/songwriter Hero Fisher as she gears up for the upcoming release of her sophomore record, Glue Moon.

Moody melodies accompanied by a mellow rock sound on guitar and thumping beat, it’s hard to categorize her music. Like driving through foggy, rain-soaked mountains filled with pine trees where you don’t know how the road ends, this is the feeling you get from “I Let Love” – a song that is initially telling stories of everyday characters, as Fisher says.

“I wanted to write a song where the focus jumped from person to person, like a contagion. The idea was that each verse would be an ordinary ‘day in the life of’ each character, and that whatever was going on was a banal and daily grind. Each character would be possessed with this spirit, making them push on through, and shake off their demons.”
