[WATCH] Field Division – “Modest Mountains”

Des Moines, Iowa duo, Field Division – comprised of Evelyn Taylor and Nicholas Frampton – use the lush scenery or their hometown’s prairie land to inspire the gorgeous settings in their music. Their 2014 debut EP, Reverie State, invokes just that by conjuring up a daydream that’s equally as blissful as it is alluring. The band recently released a video for the track, “Modest Mountains,” featuring everything you’ve ever dreamed about the perfect road trip away from the hustle and bustle.

Frampton says of the music video, captured during a tour to the West Coast this past November:

“The sentiment within “Modest Mountains” is to ‘get free’ – to release one’s self from the shackles of life to somewhere positively sublime – and to realize that perhaps it’s all a state of mind, as well. With the natural beauty surrounding us while treading West, and Big Sur as our destination, our cinematographer, Bruce, was able to capture us in a state of mind one can only have while journeying.”
