[Pick Of The Week] Halsey – “Colors” (Stripped)

“Art is not what I create. What I create is chaos.”

Halsey‘s “Colors” started making waves way before the release of her debut, Badlands – however, with the release of the stripped version of the track just this past week, fans gets to experience a whole new dimension of “Colors” – maybe the version the singer originally had in mind during the song’s inception.

The raw emotion you get from this version is worth everything. I’ve always loved the line of, “You’re only happy when your sorry head is filled with dope. I hope you make it to the day you’re 28 years old” – a commentary of how I view the world and my generation as I sit by and watch everyone around me drown their woes in drugs and alcohol.
