Fleurie is a Nashville-based electropop project from Lauren Strahm. The singer is getting ready to release her independently released EP, Arrows, on September 4 – the follow up to 2013’s Fear and Fable – balancing two different worlds of organic piano/vocals with electronic drums, synths and computer programming. Lead single, “Fire In My Bones,” is a surefire hit in the flesh, pounding with epic drums and blissful synth bound for an 80’s revival. Lyrics, “If it feels right, it’s probably wrong,” hit home, as I do a bit of soul searching on my own lately. With vocals this angelic, Arrows leaves you breathless, in search of magic.
