[WATCH] Carly Rae Jepsen – “Run Away With Me”

It takes a certain kind of musical power and energy to turn this girl’s day around. Let’s be honest: I’m going through a lot of shit right now, but when Carly Rae Jepsen, queen of 80’s synthpop, it seems, drops a track as adorable and blissfully synthtastic as “Run Away With Me,” without a doubt, you cannot deny the smile that’s plastered all over my face. I recently had a chance to preview Jepsen’s upcoming release, E•MO•TION, and let me just say that what Taylor Swift did not accomplish with the real 1989 theme, Jepsen SLAYS tenfold! This is some next level shit and I cannot wait until it is unleashed on August 21.

Today, Jepsen released a video for new single, “Run Away With Me,” taking the singer across the globe to different cities, on a quest for adventure and romance. That sax, though!!!
