It’s a very important – and rather exciting – week for Aly & AJ. The sister duo, who first stole our hearts back in the mid-aughts, are releasing their first album in 14 years this Friday, May 7!
Titled A Touch Of The Beat Gets You Up On Your Feet Gets You Out And Then Into The Sun (take that, Fall Out Boy!), this new record is set to be their best yet. Experimenting with their sound on previous EP releases, 2017’s Ten Years and 2019’s Sanctuary, the band have finally found a place to rest their heads, but if we know the Michalka sisters, we’re pretty sure it’s only going to get better from here.
New video for “Don’t Need Nothing” is essentially what everyone needs at the moment: good, clean fun. After a whirlwind of a year, don’t we all just want to run around and dance in a field eating strawberries? If this video is any indication of what the album is going to be like, we’re in for a fun ride! We’re thinking lots of summer road trips…
