[Pick Of The Week] Chain Gang of 1974 – “Wanting This”

If you’ve been following  Chain Gang of 1974 for a while now, it’s no secret that Kamtin Mohager effortlessly weaves the art of longing and desire into a perfectly crafted synthpop dream. It’s been about two years since his last LP, Honey Moon Drips, and fans have been anticipating new music. Luckily for us, that time is now, and new single, “Wanting This,” is exactly what we’ve been wanting…pun very much intended.

Delving into those situations where two people are so obviously meant to be together, but modern life tends to complicate things, “Wanting This” begs the question of, “Tell me now how much you have wanted this,” giving way to a response that can either kill us or make us whole. Chances are, you’ve been there before and sending this one to that someone you have in mind just might break the ice!
