Nashville rising trio, Moody Joody, have built strong momentum over the past six years with their infectious indie and alt-pop vibes. The anticipation for their forthcoming debut album – due out later this year – is palpable and new single, “Little Blue House” only furthers that notion.
A playful take on curiosity of what goes on behind closed doors, “Little Blue House” is infectious as it is charming in all the right places.
“This song came from some reflection on my teenage years and remembering my intense curiosity,” shared vocalist/guitarist Kaitie Forbes. “I grew up in a town where everyone’s lives looked very similar and it was such a bubble that when I realized there was more out there I became so intrigued. This song comes from yearning and intense curiosity on how other people are living their lives and doing things their own way. The little blue house for me represents that life I dreamed of: indie music, exploration, rebellion, self confidence and true self expression.”
