[Pick Of The Week] Julia Michaels – “Sorry To Me Too”

Julia Michaels is back and she’s taking no shit. But that’s just how we like it!

After releasing her 2021 debut album, Not In Chronological Order, a lot has happened for Michaels and she’s ready to share with new track, “Sorry To Me Too,” with new music coming in 2023!

“Sorry To Me Too” is a harrowing breakup anthem tinged with regret and self-empowerment. When dealing with a broken heart, the remedy is always music and self-care, along with an apology to yourself as you walk away with your head held high and that is exactly what Michaels has done as she paves the way for a new musical era.

“The new music I have coming is me going through the grieving process of a breakup. You’ll hear me working out what happened, where it went wrong, trying not to blame myself, and getting back to life without this person who I thought would be in it for a really long time,” she says. “’Sorry To Me Too’ captures that disbelief and anger phase. Like, ‘You say you’re sorry?’ Well, I’m sorry to me too for believing all your bullshit and in the promises that you gave me and told me that I clinged to—that I thought were real.”
