[Pick Of The Week] Bad Suns – “Hold Your Fire”

Something magical is happening with Bad Suns and we are anticipating the release of the band’s third album, Mystic Truth, on March 22!

New track, “Hold Your Fire,” is a Strokes-esque take on their already massive alt-pop sound, adding in a little sweetness to what we’ve all loved about these guys since their 2014 debut.

Mystic Truth begins a whole new chapter for the band as they find a home with Epitaph Records. With “Away We Go” and now “Hold Your Fire” at the forefront of the cycle of album three, things are starting to get really exciting for listeners who can’t wait to see what they have been creating!

Described as “a meditation on acceptance in the form of confronting the end of a relationship,” by frontman Christo Bowman, “Hold Your Fire” is an immediate standout track that will no doubt become a new fan favorite.

“This song came to life beneath the stars, on a wind farm in Palm Springs on a breezy summer night,” Bowman shared. “The synth sequence and rolling bass lines were being looped in the room — I felt this tap on the shoulder and just started singing the words ‘hold your fire,’ and immediately knew we had something special to work with.”
