[LISTEN] TRACE – “Blood and Bones”

I believe we all have been victims of a quite interesting yet tricky sensation we like to call “infatuation.” Believing we understand and know all about the person we’re attracted to, creating a picture in your head is pretty easy…until it shatters away.

TRACE is an LA-based singer-songwriter who, after inking a deal with Sony/Ultra Music on the strength of her viral debut EP Low, is ready to fire back with her pensive and whimsical track, “Blood and Bones,” which perfectly describes the feeling stated above.

Smoky, enchanting and enigmatic, the track reflects on the “misinterpreted allure” that often accompanies unrequited love. TRACE shares, “It’s a romantic fantasy when someone lives up to your imagination about them. ‘Blood and Bones’ is my way of admitting that underneath the decorative and detailed surface of me, there’s a truth I’ll keep from you.”
