[LISTEN] Stay Lunar – “Before You Go”

UK indie-pop band, Stay Lunar, are gearing up for the release of their forthcoming EP and the singles we’ve heard so far have us swooning!

Next up is future fan favorite, “Before You Go,” and it will definitely have listeners intrigued. A slight departure from the band’s usual dreampop vibes, “Before You Go” is a bit grittier sonically and lyrically.

Delving into looking inward during a rough patch in a relationship, the track is a reminder that in order to be the best partner for someone else, we need to be able to be emotionally safe with ourselves.

“‘Before You Go’ is a song about tackling your own flaws and insecurities in order to overcome a difficult period in a relationship,” shares singer Harry Leigh. “The song was written as a reminder to myself that to be the best person we can be for others, we need to keep growing, or we’ll be left behind.”
