[LISTEN] Moonrunner83 – “In My Head” feat. King Protea

The best way to describe the sound of Canadian electronic producer/songwriter Moonrunner83 is to picture yourself on a night drive with the stars out and neon signs galore. If that doesn’t pique your interests, pressing play might help!

New track, “In My Head,” featuring vocalist King Protea, takes you on a seductive synthwave cloud of bliss as visions of a future (or past) love fill your head. Needless to say, falling in love never sounded this good. With the glow of the streetlights and the nostalgia of cassette players in car stereos, you won’t be able to get “In My Head” out of your head!

The track is set to be featured on Moonrunner83’s forthcoming full-length album due out later this year via independent synthwave/indie-pop label, FiXT Neon.

“‘In My Head’ was an absolute blast of a collaboration. As soon as I heard the track, I instantly heard the ‘in my head, in my head’ lyric,” shared King Protea. “I loved the idea of exploring something sweet and nostalgic, a love that is truly patient and not afraid of the dark parts of our minds. The track offered the perfect landscape for that.”
