[Song Of The Day] Tilia – “Black Monday”

Swiss singer-songwriter, Tilia, created a masterpiece on the day of David Bowie‘s passing. New single, “Black Monday,” from her LP, Pattern, showcases the singer’s distinctive vocals with lush, guitar-driven soundscapes reminiscent of Garbage, The Cranberries, Dido and KT Tunstall.

Exploring the realms of the daily routines of society, the singer described the song as being about “escapism.” She went on to say, “There’s a kind of emptiness in my generation, and a need to break free from life’s confines by partying on the weekends, until – on ‘Black Monday’ – you are put right back into the same old reality.”
