[Song Of The Day] GEMS – “Forgive Me”

The sixth installment in GEMS‘ Every Full Moon series is nothing short of, well…a gem. Chronicling the duo’s heart-wrenching break up, “Forgive Me,” is a surrender of peace of some sort that is probably the softest track of all six.

“This song really seemed to materialize by itself, as if written by something that was neither me nor Clifford. Music blows my fucking mind because it has the power to transcend the most trying circumstances,” stated singer Lindsay Pitts in an email. “Sometimes the two of us have a hard time being in the same room together, but out of that tension something incredibly beautiful can emerge. Music can make you forget whatever you were so angry about and get lost in a dream.”
