[PREMIERE] Luxe For Fun – “Patience”

In what seems to be the slowest paced week in history, we have finally arrived to New Music Friday! Without further ado, let’s celebrate with a song premiere – shall we?

Luxe For Fun is a London-based duo comprised of vocalist and Guildhall Jazz graduate Zara and producer Alex. Just like TDL favourite Oh Wonder had done at the start of their journey, the similarly ambient sounding Luxe For Fun are releasing one song per month for the upcoming couple of months via SoundCloud.

We are proud to premiere their newest track, “Patience,” where 80’s-inspired synth production meets sophisticated soul. The minimalist instrumental setting creates a relaxed sound experience that allows the vocals to lead the direction. The heartfelt message of the song is also something we can get behind.

“The track is about reassuring someone close to you who’s going through a hard time (and reassuring yourself to some extent too) that things will improve and get better in time,” says the group collectively.
