[Playlist] Hurricane Season

Being that we’re right in the middle of hurricane season, I thought it would be appropriate that we get bullshit artist-y and compare life situations with hurricanes. This entire summer has been nothing but a whirlwind of hurricanes – as one after the other riles me up and leaves me in uncharted territory, it’s only normal to feel like things will never settle down. These songs are all about conflicting emotions and situations we can’t find our way out of. From Halsey’s infamous “Hurricane” to Honor Society’s underrated “Hurricane,” to the in-the-midst-of-the-storm “All The Days” by Haerts, there’s a storm for everyone to get swept up in. Then of course you have your songs of aftermath – The Neighbourhood’s “Float” to Echosmith’s “Safest Place” which reminds us that the only story we belong to is the one we write ourselves. If you find yourself caught in a bad spot, press play and let the music run through you.
