It’s a special feeling when you get to watch one of your favorite bands evolve into something even more beautiful than you ever could have imagined. When it comes to flor, everything feels right and possible; like time just stops and everything magically works out even in the midst of chaos and fear. Perhaps they’re my security blanket. Not ashamed.
On February 2, the band will release the deluxe edition of their debut album, come out. you’re hiding, featuring our Pick Of The Week, “Rely.” A tale of finding your special person – the one soul you can rely on through anything – the track takes listeners on a journey of emotional support and growth as you realize how blessed you truly are to have the people in your life that love you.
Of course, no song is complete without an accompanying video and this one doesn’t disappoint. At first you think it’s going to turn out badly for the band – like a Jurassic Park meets Pretty Little Liars thing – but in true flor fashion, the band finds a place to jam out in solitude. Well played.
