[Pick Of The Week] Zealyn – “Limbic System” Feat. JMR

Los Angeles’ Zealyn has a voice made of gold that reeled me in immediately with her dreamy new track, “Limbic System,” featuring JMR which was produced and co-written with Copeland’s Aaron Marsh. Looks like we won’t have to wait too long for an album as talks of a nine-track debut are in play and due out soon. “Limbic System” is the follow up track to the singer’s “Talk:Listen” and “Sleep On It.”

“The limbic system is the part of your brain that processes your emotions, and creates memories,” says Zealyn. “That’s an appropriate album title, because that’s what these songs are about. They’re about the raw emotion and thoughts I’ve had at a certain point in time. There are a lot of questions being asked, and a lot of metaphors.”
