[Pick Of The Week] TeamMate – “Nothing’s Ever Over”

Indie-pop duo, TeamMate, consisting of Scott Simons and Dani Buncher, have quite the interesting story. After dating for nearly a decade, Buncher’s coming out ended the years of calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Most couples would drift apart after a break up but the duo discovered a deeper connection, allowing them to forge a new path into music. Pretty much the most mature break up ever. Having a creative outlet to carry the two through those much-needed therapeutic moments, the duo have created something unlike any other, giving their lyrical content a certain depth and personality.

Our Pick of the Week, the ever-glowing “Nothing’s Ever Over,” is a celebration of the duo’s biggest accomplishment of retaining a close friendship through a break up and becoming each other’s team mate.
